Jordan Peele Was Also Disturbed By That Photo Of Ivanka Trump And Jared Kushner

Poor Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. On Monday, the power couple was simply looking at Donald Trump, her dad and his boss, as he was lavishly greeted at Buckingham Palace during their whirlwind trip to London, which the president kicked off by calling the city’s mayor a “stone cold loser.” They can’t help that they look like they have resting creepy doll faces, which turned a photo of them into a viral gold mine that earned them comparisons to Flowers in the Attic, The Shining, and Get Out.

To add salt to the wound, the creator of Get Out agreed. Tuesday afternoon, as caught by Entertainment Weekly, Jordan Peele confirmed that everyone was right to be creeped out.

“Between this and that terrifying sorority video, I’ve been getting a lot of great inspiration recently,” wrote the Key & Peele co-creator turned Oscar-winning screenwriter.

As you well know, Get Out concerned affluent white liberals who prey on black people, kidnapping them and inhabiting their bodies. Ivanka and Jared are close enough.

This continues to be not a great week for Kushner, who tends to hang on the sidelines, keeping his mouth shut. And with good reason: When he does, as in the interview he did with Axios on HBO, he squirms like a champion while failing to defend his father-in-law from decades of accusations of racism.

Burger King Trolled President Trump’s ‘Hamberder’ Tweet With A Tongue-In-Cheek Response

By now, we’ve likely all heard about the grand presidential feast Donald Trump served to the Clemson Tigers. Welcoming the 2018 national college champions into the State Dining Room of the White House, the president treated the players to a buffet of only the finest selection of fast food from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King.

“The Clemson championship team, the National Championship team will be coming tonight. It will be exciting. Very great team. An unbelievable team,” Trump told reporters prior to the visit. “They’ll be coming tonight, and I think we’re going to serve McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King with some pizza.”

As is his way, Trump made sure to pat himself on the back for the gesture on Twitter the following morning. “Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders etc.,” he tweeted. “Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!”

“Hamberders” naturally caught like wildfire on Twitter, and although Trump eventually deleted the tweet and corrected it (a full three hours later), the misspelling will live on in infamy. By mid-day Tuesday even Burger King got in on the fun.

“Due to a large order placed yesterday, we’re all out of hamberders,” the official account tweeted. “Just serving hamburgers today.”

To little surprise, the roast went over well:

Oddly enough, Wendy’s Twitter has yet to weigh in, which seems like a missed opportunity for the typically-reliable, snarky account.

Omarosa Weeps On ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ About Being ‘Haunted’ By Trump Tweets ‘Every Single Day’

Newly unemployed White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman surfaced on the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother Wednesday night — arguably a role that she seems much better suited for. If there was any doubt that the former Apprentice star was prepared to scorched earth on her former employer, her debut on the reality show should tell you all you need to know.

In a candid moment with fellow contestant, television personality Ross Matthews, Omarosa said she thought of it as a “call to duty” and she felt like she was serving her country, when asked why she would join the Trump administration. “I was haunted by tweets, every single day,” she stated, on how her job quickly became a nightmare. “Like, what is he going to tweet next?”

Omarosa went on to say that her access to the president was revoked when she, of all people, bravely attempted to step in and intervene (and definitely not because of a surprise bridal photo shoot) and that she was outranked by the likes of Jared and Ivanka.

Through crocodile tears, Manigault-Newman told Matthews, “I would like to say [it’s] not my problem, but I can’t say that, because like, it’s bad.” Matthews then asked if we should be worried by what’s going on behind closed doors, and Omarosa nodded. “Because we are worried and I need you to say, ‘No it’s gonna be okay,'” continued Matthews. “No it’s not going to be okay, it’s not,” she admitted. “So bad.”

Strangely, Omarosa seems to be singing quite the change of tune as when she appeared on Good Morning America to discuss her “resignation” back in December.

KFC Is Now Accepting Bitcoin for Buckets of Fried Chicken

Oh, cryptocurrency. Despite warnings from the Oracle of Omaha (and our own common sense), everyone we know is still trying to cash in on Bitcoin-driven hype with embarrassing earnestness. Brands included. (To be fair, the results enjoyed by Long Island Iced Tea--or shall we say Long Blockchain Corp.?--hasn't helped matters.) But KFC Canada has found...
